The Fox Chase Reading Series @ 3 Sisters Corner Cafe is now entering it’s third season featuring poets from across the nation and Philadelphia presenting their work in Fox Chase. Two Featured Poets read their work followed by an open mic at this series sponsored by The Fox Chase Review and Mad Poets Society. The Fox Chase Reading Series @ The Blue Ox Bistro ”2nd Tuesdays Poetry Open Mic” offers new and established poets reading in the open mic format sponsored by The Fox Chase Review. You can pre register for the open mic by emailing foxchasereadingseries@yahoo.com.

The Fox Chase Review an on line poetry magazine featuring poets reading at 3 Sisters Corner Cafe and invited guest poets from across the United States and the Globe. You can read the magazine @ www.foxchasereview.org Submissions to the review are by invitation only at this time.

History

The Fox Chase Review was founded in the summer of 2007 followed by the founding of The Fox Chase Reading Series. The Featured Poet Series at 3 Sisters Corner Café kicked off in early 2008 followed by “2^nd Tuesdays Poetry Open Mic” at The Blue Ox Bistro in March of 2009.

The vision is to provide poets with a showcase for their work both in print, (on line), and performance. We have attempted to provide the readers of The Fox Chase Review with a broad range of styles and schools of poetry as well as in presentation of poetry at our live readings. The Review is published twice a year with an occasional special edition. The Winter/Spring 2010 edition will be the first to include prose.

The Series and Review are guided by our staff. Diane Sahms-Guarnieri signed on as Poetry Editor, SR Moser has handled web design and editing since the inception, O.L. Barnes signed on as Fiction Editor in 2009. Charles Loudon and Alfred Fullerton will contribute book reviews to our blog. The poets and writers who contribute to the review and our staff are gracious in that the work is provided at no cost to the reader.

We hope you enjoy our Fox Chase Review and take the time to come out and enjoy the live performance of our featured poets at 3 Sisters Corner Café and to hear the work of emerging and established poets at our “2^nd Tuesdays Poetry Open Mic” at The Blue Ox Bistro.
