Todd and Saunier in Fox Chase June 24th

Join us for our last reading before the summer break!

The Fox Chase Reading Series presents our featured poet/writers reading on June 24th @ 2pm featuring the poetry of J.C. Todd and Hayden Saunier at Ryerss Museum and Library, 7370 Central Avenue, Philadelphia, Pa. 19111. The Featured Poets will be followed by an open mic.

J.C. Todd is the author of What Space This Body published by Wind Publications 2008 as well as Nightshade and Entering Pisces, chapbooks published by Pine Press. Her awards include a Fellowship in Poetry from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, two Leeway Foundation grants, and a fellowship to Kunstlerhaus Schloss Wiepersdorf from the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. She has an M.F.A. from the Program for Writers at Warren Wilson College and teaches creative writing at Bryn Mawr College. You can read the poetry of J.C. Hayden Saunier most recently won the 2011 Pablo Neruda Prize for Poetry form Nimrod International Journal. Her work has appeared widely in journals such as 5 A.M.Beloit Poetry JournalBellevue Literary ReviewDrunken BoatMargieNimrodRattle, and on the poetry site Verse Daily.  Her first book, Tips for Domestic Travel, was the finalist for the St. Lawrence Award and was published in 2009 by Black Lawrence Press.   1. Im a poet in I have alot 2 say I just dont know how to go about sending some off to different people n maybe getting them published if u could take some time out in get back to me some ideas it would be helpful.
