Masington and Baroth in Fox Chase February 21st

Join us for our first reading of the 2015 Season 

Saturday – February 21st   @ 1p.m The Fox Chase Reading Series presents poets Maria Masington and Peter Baroth in the 2nd Floor Gallery of Ryerss Museum and Library, 7370 Central Avenue, Philadelphia, Pa. 19111. Ryerss sits atop the hill at Burholme Park. An open mic follows the featured readers.

Peter Baroth

Peter Baroth is a Philadelphia area writer, artist, and musician. He is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and Temple Law School. He has published a novel, Long Green (iUniverse), and a poetry chapbook, Ski Oklahoma (Wordrunner Chapbooks). He won the 2009 Amy Tritsch Needle Award in poetry. Maria Masington

Maria Masington

Maria Masington is a writer from Wilmington, Delaware.  Her poetry has been published in The News Journal, Damozel Literary Journal, The Red River Review, The Survivor’s Review, and WANDERINGS, which she co-edited. Her short story, Impasario was published in Some Wicked by Smart Rhino Publishing. Once a month, you’ll find Maria at the Newark Arts Alliance where she emcees an open mic night for writers of all genres.
