We end our spring season with May 10th- 2nd Tuesdays Poetry Open Mic and two poets from New York who will entertain and challenge you with their verse Lisella andFagiani in Fox Chase May 22nd . Two events you shouldn’t miss!
Our Summer Season
June 1st – The 10th Edition of The Fox Chase Review will be published on line
June 12th – The last 2nd Tuesdays Poetry Open Mic until September at The Hop Angel Brauhaus.
June 26th –
Philadelphia Poet Paul Siegell joins with NYC Poet Ocean Vuong for our Featured Poets Reading at Ryerss Museum and Library followed by an open mic.
July 16th – Poets inthe Park returns to Lions Park in the heart of Fox Chase when Poets Thaddeus Rutkowski, Leonard Gontarek, Timothy Gager, Chad Parenteau join Diane Sahms-Guarnieri and G Emil Reutter in the park for a magical evening of poetry.
July 31st – The Outlaws return to Ryerss Museum and Library when Poet David Blaine heads east into town from Michigan and Nathan Graziano heads south from New Hampshire. A great afternoon of poetry will follow their arrival followed by an open mic.
August 20th – Poets onthe Porch returns to Ryerss Museum and Library when poets Dan Maguire, Lynn Levin, Amy King, Ana Božičević, Elizabeth Pallitto join Diane Sahms-Guarnieri and G Emil Reutter on the porch of the historic museum for a special afternoon of poetry in Fox Chase.
We will post updates to each event as they approach. Thanks to all those who come out to support the poets and The Fox Chase Reading Series. We hope to see you on May 10th for the open mic and for two great poets at Ryerss on May 22nd, Lisella and Fagiani.
Poet David Blaine will be participating in what may set the record for the longest poetry reading in history. Poets Dianne Borsenik and John Burroughs organized Snoetry – a winter wordfest that will begin on February 2nd at 5pm and conclude on Tuesday February 8th. The event will run 24 hours a day at Jim’s Coffee House and Diner.
