Lunch in the Victorian Tea Room, homemade baked goods. wassail bowl, magnificent decorations and exquisite crafts, gifts, fresh wreaths and holiday decorations for sale. A reading by Poet in Residence Diane Sahms-Guarnieri, Live music. SANTA VISITS AT 10:30. Raffle of valuable prizes. Used book sale in the basement. Donation point for winter coats and pet supplies.

George Wylesol, president of The Friends of Ryerss said, “This year’s event offers something for everyone. We expect quite an assortment of vendors with a variety of wares including home-made candy, jewelry and fine holiday craft items, to name a few.  And, word has it that St. Nick, himself, will make a personal appearance at 10:30 that morning.”

Three Holiday events in Fox Chase – December 1st

Artisans, photographers, crafters will abound in Fox Chase on December 1st at three public events. Consider spending the day in Fox Chase for these family oriented events.

10am to 2:30pm – Victorian Christmas Bazaar at Ryerss Museum and Library, 7370 Central Avenue in Fox Chase.  The bazaar will feature festive decoration, crafts, gifts for sale, holiday decorations, homemade baked goods, Wassail Bowl, raffles of valuable prizes. 3pm to 5pm – Fox Chase Christmas Tree Lighting  The annual Fox Chase Christmas Tree Lighting in Lions Park, 7900 Oxford Avenue in the heart of Fox Chase. Music by The Celtic Connection and Leslie, crafts, community tables and of course the arrival of Santa Claus and the lighting of the Christmas Tree.
