Boston Poet Jack Powers passed away last year. There is currently a petition requesting the Mayor of Boston to honor Jack by giving him special notice in the Mayor’s Poetry and Prose Program.  Our friends at Stone Soup Poetry, (founded by Jack Powers), advised you do not have to be a resident of Boston to sign and are encouraging poets and lovers of poetry from anywhere to sign the petition.
