The Fox Chase Reading Series is pleased to present our Featured Poets/Writers Reading on November 24th with Poet/Writers Robert Hambling Davis and Russell Reece at Ryerss Museum and Library, 7370 Central Avenue, Philadelphia, Pa. 19111. Robert Hambling Davis has published his work in The Sun, Antietam ReviewMemoir (and)Homestead ReviewPhiladelphiaStories, and Santa Monica Review. He is the recipient of three Delaware Division of the Arts Individual Artist fellowship grants, two for fiction and one for creative nonfiction. Robert was a semifinalist in the 2002 William Faulkner Creative Writing Contest, and his story, “Death of a Deer,” originally published inAmerican Writing,was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. Russell Reece has had stories and essays published in Memoir(and)Crimespree Magazine,Delaware Beach LifeDelmarva QuarterlyRaving Dove, Sliver of Stone, EarthSpeak and other on-line and print journals. Russ is a University of Delaware alumnus and a board member of the Delaware Literary Connection. He lives in Bethel, Delaware along the beautiful Broad Creek in rural Sussex County and is currently working on a novel set in that area in the 1930’s.
